This design focuses on the thing Wales does better than most: rain. The rugby’s been a bit patchy to say the least least over the last few years, the football’s had its moments, but winning a World Cup anytime soon? Probably not. Rain, though - we’re absolutely elite. We've produced some off the best rain since records began. Some of the all time great teams and 'players'. Wales is one of the wettest parts of the UK, with Atlantic weather systems rolling in and dumping rain on a fairly regular basis. Mountainous areas like Snowdonia see some of the highest rainfall totals in the country, and even the towns that aren’t breaking records still get more than their fair share. The graphic keeps it playful: a team of cheerful raindrops lifting the trophy, finally getting the recognition they deserve. Bold shapes, bright colour, nothing overworked — just a slightly tongue-in-cheek celebration of being world class at something.
