This design takes its cue from classic coastal badges and surf-style graphics. It uses a simple arched layout and clean linework to show a wide view of Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire - dunes, open beach and a large sky over the sea. A small detail sits in the foreground: a stone marked “Here lies Dobby, a free elf.” It references the beach’s role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, where the burial scene was filmed. Over time, that spot has become an informal memorial, with visitors coming to see it for themselves. The artwork keeps things simple, using bold lines and minimal detail to give it a calm, slightly retro feel. A straightforward coastal design with a story that’s travelled well beyond Pembrokeshire.
