This design is inspired by Pont Werdd Cymru, better known as the Green Bridge of Wales - one of the most recognisable natural landmarks on the Pembrokeshire coast. The artwork reduces the scene to bold graphic shapes, flat colour and a compact composition centred on the arch, the sea below and a low setting sun. Rising to roughly 80 feet and spanning more than 20 metres, the arch was shaped slowly by waves and weather over many centuries. Erosion carved caves into the limestone from either side until they joined, leaving the bridge-like opening seen today. Grass and low vegetation across the top give it its name. Found within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it sits near places like Stack Rocks and Huntsman’s Leap. The minimal front chest print gives it the feel of a clean coastal emblem.
