This design is built around the long-told suggestion that Kellogg may have some connection to the Welsh word ceiliog - the word for cockerel. According to the story, the Welsh harpist Nansi Richards pointed out the resemblance to Will Kellogg while he was searching for ideas, and the famous rooster followed soon after. Entirely confirmed or not, it is the sort of tale worth preserving. The artwork takes that link and runs with it: a clean cereal-box style graphic, a subtle nod to the famous red cockerel, and a warm retro look. The two-sided layout works well, with a neat front chest print balanced by a larger back design that carries the full idea.
