This design takes inspiration from classic surf club badges, using a bold circular layout and flowing, simplified shapes. A curling wave wraps around the composition, framing a surfer in silhouette and giving the scene a bit of movement. In the centre is the phrase “Clwb Syrffio Cymru” (“Wales Surf Club”), set in a chunky, easygoing typeface. Cymru has a well-established surf scene, from Freshwater West and Whitesands in Pembrokeshire to the consistent waves at Llangennith and the more rugged coastline along the Llŷn Peninsula. It’s a place that rewards local knowledge and a good wetsuit. The design keeps things simple, with bold lines and limited colour creating a classic surf-club look. A clean, confident badge-style design built around the Welsh coast.
