A bold circular composition and flowing lines give this design a sense of movement, echoing the motion of the sea. The wave curls around the scene, framing a surfer in silhouette and pulling the eye through the design. “Tonnau Rad” combines the Welsh word tonnau (waves) with a familiar piece of surf slang. “Rad” comes from surf and skate culture, often used to describe good conditions. It’s a simple mix of Welsh language and wider coastal culture. The repeating wave lines create a steady visual rhythm, with a slight nod to vintage surf posters. The layout stays tight and balanced, with the wave doing most of the work. A clean design built around good waves and laid-back coastal energy.
