Llangorse Lake (Llyn Syfaddan) lies beneath the ridges of Bannau Brycheiniog and is the largest natural lake in south Wales. The broad expanse of water and the hills around it give this part of mid-Wales a settled, open character. The design keeps things flat and graphic, using bold colour blocks and clear outlines to suggest the lake and mountain backdrop without unnecessary detail. The layout remains simple and balanced, with the name set out cleanly so it holds its place. Llangorse also carries a long thread of folklore - sightings of a lake creature were recorded as early as the 18th century. A straightforward take on one of mid-Wales’s most familiar waters.
