This design is built around the phrase “Unrhywun am baned?”, meaning “Anyone for a cup of tea?” It is one of those wonderfully familiar questions that tends to appear several times a day, often before the previous cup has been finished. The artwork features a cheerful retro teapot striding along, finger raised like it has had a bright idea. Clean bold lines, flat colour and a vintage café feel keep the design light and playful. Tea remains serious business in the UK, with around 100 million cups consumed daily.
