Tiger Bay was the original dockland area of Caerdydd, now referred to as Cardiff Bay. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries it was among the busiest coal-exporting ports in the world, and the neighbourhood that grew there became known for its mix of sailors, workers and families from across different countries. This design returns to that older name, pairing it with a retro-inspired graphic style and clear, confident lettering. The layout stays bold and balanced, keeping attention on the name and the sense of place without unnecessary detail. Tiger Bay still carries weight in Cardiff’s history - a reminder of its dockland past and the communities behind it.
