This design takes its cue from vintage produce labels, featuring a simple graphic illustration of tomatoes on the vine. Bold shapes, limited colour and clear lines give it a classic, slightly retro market feel. The wording introduces an unexpected detail - pointing to Llandilo, New South Wales rather than Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire. The Welsh town dates back to early Christian settlement, with its name referring to the Church of St Teilo. The Australian version was named in the 19th century, as settlers brought Welsh place names with them. The layout remains balanced and uncluttered, letting the bright reds and soft greens carry the design. A simple graphic with a quiet story behind the name.
