Football has long been part of life in Wales. The Football Association of Wales, established in 1876, remains one of the oldest national football associations in the world. This design reimagines the map of Wales as a cheerful cartoon footballer, bucket hat on, ball at its feet, ready to cut inside and curl a shot into the top corner before celebrating in the Canton Stand. The illustration follows a retro mascot style, with bold outlines and simple shapes inspired by vintage cartoons. A bright cartoon design that puts Wales at the centre of the action.
